Milk Rice
Kiribath is an indispensable food in Sinhala culture. This dish is often eaten with 'Sri Lankan lunumiris ' or with jaggery or bananas. Sri Lankans are accustomed to cooking this dish in all their good deeds. It is prepared by cooking rice with coconut milk.

Prepare Time: 1 hour
Ingredients
- 500 g white rice
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups thick coconut milk
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Wash the rice well
- Add the required amount of water and salt and cook well
- While the rice is cooking, heat the coconut milk in a another bowl.
- Add the heated coconut milk to cooked rice.
- Mix well and cook lightly.
- Cut this mixer to desired size.
- Serve with Sri Lankan Lunumiris.
