 Chinese Rolls

Ingredients


For batter

  • 2 cups of all purpose flour (bread flour)
  • 1 whisked egg
  • Salt as required
  • 2 or 1/2 cup of water


For filling

  • 500g Tuna (boiled)
  • 3 medium potatoes boiled & properly mashed
  • Salt as required
  • 1 chopped large onion
  • A few chopped onion leaves
  • 2 chopped raw chilies
  • 3 chopped cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoon chili pieces
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper powder
  • 3 tablespoon oil
  • A spring of curry leaves
  • 1 tablespoon of chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon of roasted curry powder


For Breading & Frying

  • Oil
  • Bread or biscuits crumbs
  • Whisked eggs


 Instructions


  1. Heat a pan and oil.
  2. After oil.
  3. When the oil heats up add chili powder, curry powder, curry leaves, chopped garlic, chopped onions, chopped raw chilies and fry it about 10 sec.
  4. Now add all other filling ingredients, salt, pepper powder and cook it well.
  5. Blend all batter ingredients & make a smooth batter like pancake batter.
  6. Heat a small nonstick pan & make small pancake circles from batter.(Pancake has to be very thin. don’t put too much batter)
  7. Keep the pancake on a plate. Put about 2 tablespoon of filling and fold three side edges to the middle and roll it.(see below picture)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          
  8. Egg wash and cover the fish rolls in bread crumbs.
  9. Deep fry the fish rolls.
  10. Serve with ketchup.
