Chinese Rolls

Ingredients
For batter
- 2 cups of all purpose flour (bread flour)
- 1 whisked egg
- Salt as required
- 2 or 1/2 cup of water
For filling
- 500g Tuna (boiled)
- 3 medium potatoes boiled & properly mashed
- Salt as required
- 1 chopped large onion
- A few chopped onion leaves
- 2 chopped raw chilies
- 3 chopped cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoon chili pieces
- 1 tablespoon black pepper powder
- 3 tablespoon oil
- A spring of curry leaves
- 1 tablespoon of chili powder
- 1 teaspoon of roasted curry powder
For Breading & Frying
- Oil
- Bread or biscuits crumbs
- Whisked eggs
Instructions
- Heat a pan and oil.
- After oil.
- When the oil heats up add chili powder, curry powder, curry leaves, chopped garlic, chopped onions, chopped raw chilies and fry it about 10 sec.
- Now add all other filling ingredients, salt, pepper powder and cook it well.
- Blend all batter ingredients & make a smooth batter like pancake batter.
- Heat a small nonstick pan & make small pancake circles from batter.(Pancake has to be very thin. don’t put too much batter)
- Keep the pancake on a plate. Put about 2 tablespoon of filling and fold three side edges to the middle and roll it.(see below picture)
- Egg wash and cover the fish rolls in bread crumbs.
- Deep fry the fish rolls.
- Serve with ketchup.
