Dhal Curry

Ingredients
- 250g dhal
- 2 tablespoon of curry powder
- 1 tablespoon of chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 2-3 cinnamon pieces
- Salt as required
- 1 chopped raw chili
- 2 cloves of chopped onion
- A spring of curry leaf
- 3-4 small spices of pandan leaf
- 2 cloves of chopped garlic
- 1cup of thin coconut milk
- 2 cup of thick coconut milk
Instructions
- Wash dhal well.
- Put it into pot.
- Add salt as required and all ingredients except coconut milk.
- Now add 1 cup of thin milk.
- Cover it & cook the lentils until slightly soft.
- Now add thick coconut milk.
- Cook while stirring.(Do not stop stirring as the curry may freeze)
- Remove from the cooker after 5-10 minutes. (When the lentils are well softened)
