Prepare Time : 9 hours

Servings : 6-8

 

 Ingredients

  1. 400g of urad flour              
  2. 200g of rice flour
  3. 25g of fenugreek seeds
  4. 1 tablespoon salt
  5. Water as needed
  6. 1tablespoon yeast           

 Instructions

  1. All all ingredients to a large bowl mix it well & transfer it blender pot.
  1. Blend all ingredients smooth and fluffy batter by adding water as required.
  1. Cover and keep it in warm place for 8 hours till the batter ferments and doubles.
  1. After 8 hours ,Then Add Salt
  1.  Scoop the batter into idli plate greased with oil.
  1. Place in steamer and steam for 10 minutes on medium flame or till a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  1. Wait for the utensil to cool a bit before scooping the idlis out.
  1. Serve with Coconut Chutney
